It's funny you should ask this. Both noobtrain and I announced taking a long break from the game or even retirement. That is still the plan but I'll probably release one more event soon. I saw a clip that would make a perfect Evil 2 event and have been working on it all week. It's been extremely challenging finding good clips that are usable for events and stories in the game so when I saw this clip (I wasn't looking for one, just watching some porn online) I felt inspired to do an additional event. It'll be a medium length event but not a story. Hopefully I'll release it sometime next week.

Well, I tried to reproduce this "bug" by starting a new game, rushing my way with cheat commands to the Farm College Hazing event, "befriending" the girl at the end of the event instead of enslaving her, and working as a taxi ... I met the stranded motorist the very next day !

I wish I hadn't overwritten the original save file where I'd encountered this potential bug or was at least able to reproduce it easily Well, fuck me I guess, you can add me to the list of the retards who'd rather call a game bugged than admit they can't read a checklist

Make sure you play the game long enough to play all content. Too many players give up early and miss all the unique events and stories in the game. Cheats can be used to get you to the events and stories sooner if desired but if it's your first playthrough we recommend using cheats lightly.

The reviews for the game are filled with players who blamed the game, thinking it was shallow, because they just clicked on the download links and refused to read anything. They never made it to the 15 unique events and 2 major storylines in the game. We were blamed because they refused to read anything on the OP.

So please play the full game and use cheats as needed to customize the level or grind you are comfortable with to get you to the visual novel style events and stories (which occupy a good portion of the second half of the game).

We don't attempt to write a novel with the unique events and stories. There isn't any unnecessary "fluff" with the writing. We keep the writing and dialog to the point with everything moving at a good pace. So this isn't a good game to skip the text/writing/dialog. You'll miss important story information if the writing is skipped.

I do have to say, you all do a pretty good job weave the plot threads/motivations for why things are happening the way they are. And it also ends up bringing out how you all picture the main character behaving, even if as the player, we have differing initial opinions towards our motivations in how we played the character.

The game is super. And I would like to live on. Well, this is my personal opinion. Thanks to OSE for her and for the work done!

I'm having a lot of fun writing this event! The rough draft is nearly complete. It should be a great event for the game. Happily, I laughed numerous times at my own writing. A good stress reliever at least lol.

Hey frens i installed build 74 and having a crash when throwing a party at dorms. Either right away or after dancing with one or two npcs. It seems to be whenever a new event at a party is generated, one of the events is bugged. Happens with fresh save

I'm unable to reproduce this bug. Please attach your save game.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed multiple cases where events were being triggered prematurely. Most of the events after 'Pool Girl Stories - Sasha' were affected and fixed (conditions to trigger)
• Fixed the conditions on several events that would cause them to become unavailable if the player chose not to add a unique event girl to their contacts from earlier events
• Fixed a bug affecting permanent gang member assignments where they couldn't be reassigned if bribed out of prison
• Lots of small miscellaneous bug fixes
• Lots of logic improvements made throughout the code

New Features / Enhancements / Changes

• Added a new medium length event to the game - 'Gangster Business' - Event occurs after you've completed all the other events and stories in the game. It should be a fun and somewhat humorous event. The MC is doing crime lord business and it goes along well with the game world and builds upon earlier stories and events. You have to have at least 1.2 million caps (may change this later as this amount isn't technically needed) to trigger this event and complete all earlier stories and events (on new games at least. Existing save games could trigger it earlier due to premature event triggering that was fixed with this update). Note: Cucking is a part of this event which is new to this game. The player isn't being cucked, you are cucking someone else. The cucking is appropriate to the setting and game world. Note: There's a 5 day waiting period in order to start the last stage of this event. If you wish to skip the 5 day wait, use the 'Remove Event Delay' cheat in the cheat menu after finishing the 2nd stage. There are three stages to the event.

Installation

Copy 'Evil 2 - 0_75 Beta.7z' to your 'EVIL 2' folder (not the 'Evil' folder inside the 'Evil 2' folder). Right-click on the file - 7-zip - 'Extract Here' - 'Overwrite All' - Select OK to merge and overwrite the existing files. Don't create a new folder when extracting. If you aren't prompted to replace existing files then you didn't install the update correctly.

The 'Installation' section on the OP explains what files need to be downloaded for a new installation.


Notes

If you're a new player to the game, PLEASE read the following sections on the OP before downloading the game: Overview - Spoiler section, Requirements, and Installation.

This update fully replaces version '0.74'. Please refer to the 'Installation' instructions on the OP if you're performing a full or new installation of the game.

The game is Windows only and the QSP Player that comes with the game is the only QSP player that will work. Too many players just click on the download links without reading the 'Game Overview - spoiler section' and 'Requirements' and then get frustrated that the game won't work.

Ensure that your window positions are set properly in the QSP Player. The game as well as the stories and events are optimized for the below window positions.



Notice that the last 'e' in 'Appearance' is nearly shaved off. The events and stories are designed so that no scrolling is required! If you have to scroll to see all the text then your window positions aren't optimized. I'll look really odd if you have one or two words line wrapping on each text line.

Please read the 'Developer Notes/FAQ' section if you run into problems.

This is a beta release. Once it's determined to be clean I'll ask to have it published and promoted. Please report any bugs.


Save Games

Run the following command in the 'spectre1viper command injector' twice to update existing save games:

gs'dyn' & gs'dyn2' & gs'dyn3' & gs'dinsex' & gs'dinsex2'

Save your game afterwards.

Just some personal thoughts... if the writing for the game is a good stress reliever, you could use it as a means to vent! More specifically, you can cuck the shit out of the player base (potentially optionally) if they rub you the wrong way.

After all it's a game about being evil. Though... to a certain extent, I kind of do find some aspects of the game interesting in terms of messaging. (VtM specifically tries to make the player in that ttrpg play the role of the bad guys to kind of instill the message of "Don't be a monster in real life." by kind of showing all the complications that come with it, and how easy it is for someone to lose their humanity.)

So when I play EVIL 2, I, by parental conditioning, keep expecting the other shoe to drop, and maybe in you all's writing, eventually it will.

But at the same time, I think in a lot of the VN events to the arc, I find it intriguing. On one hand, I've managed to coerce/kidnap/purchase hundreds of women into slavery to make my life easy, but on the other hand, as an individual, I'm blowing my money, "saving" some of the women who I happen to come across.

Kind of makes for an interesting moral dilemma, since at the end of the day, this is an interesting portrayal almost of enriching the few at the expense of the many.

So I guess, where I'm going with all of this, is that you all (you, noobtrain, and the others actively working on the project) do have an interesting game here, with almost thematic gold in the way it kind of bucks expectations, and I think subtly introduces this human complexity.

I don't know if it was intentional or happened by coincidence, but either way, it IS really well done. And if these weren't things you were thinking about already, then carry on, and by no means let my framing of my experience influence or dictate the direction you plan on taking the game.

It's always interesting when things somewhat defy conventional expectation and end up somewhat showing a mirror of truth to life.

skybarbie - I already had a save game prepared waiting for your new event. I just finished it and it's excellent and hilarious! I had several good laughs throughout the event. Excellent use of the John Wick clip! I could hardly stop laughing. Great event that fit in perfectly with the game! A unique event that was very entertaining. Players will definitely want to read all the writing with this one. Hats off to you!

For some reason I don't have the option to hire hitmen. Why is that? Because now there is no way to get rid of Mabuta

Hitmen are hired from your gang members. They have to own all the firearms, complete firearms training, be a high level soldier (greatly preferred), and have some kills from being the 'Gunman for robberies'. Then the option will appear to make them a hitman. You can then ask them to eliminate Mabuta.

Always have your highest level soldier be the 'Gunman for robberies' and then once he has a bunch of kills, assign him as a Hitman to kill Mabuta.

The Beginner's Guide hasn't been updated in quite a while so I updated it and made some improvements. I tried to add information from common questions that we get. If you think of other questions that come up frequently that aren't mentioned let me know and I'll consider adding it. I don't want the guide to become so long that players won't finish reading it however.

Most videos have sound but not all. Are you using the QSP Player that's bundled with the game? Are you running the game on Windows? If you can play videos using the Windows version of VLC Media Player and it plays the videos with sound, it should also work for Evil 2 in most cases. If you're playing the game in a VM, you have to select the correct video adapter and sound card in the VM settings.

What OS are you using? Is this a new computer or new OS install? There is a chance that some of the commonly used libraries and Visual C++ Runtime Redistributables aren't installed on your OS. There's a download link in the 'Developer Notes/FAQ' section that you could try but make sure you backup all your important data first.

There is a bug where the videos and pictures will stop displaying. To fix this issue you simply have to save your game, close it, restart it, and load your save game.

Your question is extremely vague and we can't read minds so please provide more details in the future.

I'm playing on windows 10 using the QSP player downloaded with the game.
I also installed all of the libraries that are in "Developer Notes/FAQ".
As for the bug I do have it somewhat regularly and it goes away when I save my game and reload it.

My problem is that there are no sound being played whatsoever and I don't know what is the cause.

I've never heard of a problem like this on Windows 10. I'm scratching my head. You can try and run this command in the 'spectre1viper command injector' but I doubt it will fix anything:
