Ever or currently?

Wings/Avs was awesome.

And I'm pretty sure there is a recent thread about this.

All you do is start threads that you consider to be new but are in fact old threads that have already been discussed here ad nauseum. You're just too fucking lazy to use the search function. From now on, when this happens, I'm just going to copy and paste my response from another thread into your thread. That way I'm still participating, but I'm being just as fucking lazy as you.

And if you're talking about rivalry games, people are going to choose the games that mean the most to them in their specific area of the country. For me, it's Purdue and Indiana. We've been playing football against each other since 1891 (Purdue leads the series 70-37). In basketball, both teams lead the Big Ten with the most conference titles (Purdue at 22, IU at 20). And even though the Hoosiers have five national championships, the Boilermakers still lead the overall head-to-head series 112-84.

People in other parts of the US would pick a different rivalry. It's all about your geographic location.

Side note: Cubs and Cardinals is probably the biggest professional rivalry for me.

Than thats when the rivalry died. Just because they play often, doesn't make it a good rivalry.

you apparently haven't been watching, because that simply fueled the rivalry. his first game back was just the crowd giving it to him all night and throwing dollar bills at him in center field. part of the rivalry has always been the Yankees going out and buying the best players, because there's no salary cap in MLB (which is stupid). the sox unfortunately started spending like crazy last year to though, and we all know how that turned out. pretty sure they'll calm down with the money-throwing now, with that trainwreck of a collapse and the off-season changes.

1: I did a SEARCH before I asked the question (advanced search) and it came back empty.

2: Dude, take a Chill Pill.

3: Why do you get so bent out of shape over something so insiginificant as a thread that may have been asked before? By the way, when was it first asked?

4: Since you seem to have a brain like a full set of Brittanica Encyclopedias, perhaps you should start your own thread with each and every topic that has been asked in all of the years that the discussion forum has been available. That way, you won't have to worry about blowing a fucking gasket the next time someone asks a question that was asked six years ago.

5. And what about people who are relativelly new to the board who did a search like I did, and it came up blank. Plus, how many people may have joined the Board from the time when the original question was asked? Maybe they have some new input?

6: Take another Chill Pill.

7: How about that Cardinals / Cubs trade? You know.. When the Cardinals traded a washed up Ernie Broglio for the rookie Lou Brock? How did that work out for the Cubs?

8: Maybe I should do a search on "How many World Series Championships have the Cubs won?"

9: lol
